I love Norbert and his sister, the character designs are great! I also like the concept where you monitor an animal, entity, etc.'s happiness, it's interesting because it takes your answers into account.
First off, some pictures had broken links, but this was a very enjoyable game with great replayability! Although it would have been nice to have completely illustrated images, it was still very engaging to see the sprite characters within the environments. The story was very charming and I think you rounded out each ending very well. Keep up the good work!
I love the way you combined photos with illustrated characters and the characters were so cute! It was such an interesting concept as well and the way you phrased the questions and gave multiple answers for the every question was really good for making sure the player could play the way they wanted to despite being dictated by the game. Nice work. I think one of the images didn't link but I assume that's just cause its still WIP
You did a good job of making it feel like player input mattered. it didn't just feel like a branching story, it felt like the player was taking actions instaed of just making choices.
It’s really great that the background changes colors through the story. When the story came to the flower field, it really surprised me!
The creatures you created are very cute. I like you to set their happiness value and satisfy them by playing games with them. Their expressions change with the happiness value, which is really amazing.
I really look forward to you being able to paint even the background, I think it will make the whole game look more harmonious and uniform.
This is such a cute story! Enjoy the narrative of the grumpy sister looking out for her carefree brother. It was also neat to see the different environments you created for this game. I think a little sound effect for the transitions between the worlds would be very cute and help immerse the player even more!
The story and the visuals were great and went hand in hand together. I really liked the art you did for Norbert too. The different options of dialogue really helped shape the way the game could be played which I quite enjoyed.
I adore Norbert!!!!! He's so cute, and I care so much about his joy. One of your images was broken but other than that this was a very cute and engaging game! I liked how the theme changed depending on where you were, and I loved the character design of Norbert and Prunella!
Really engaging and it all ties together well! I liked the idea of switching back and forth from The Great Field to reality, the story itself is very unique as well. It was interesting picking different answers throughout the story and seeing what would happen next. Everything was clear and easy to understand but still provided a little bit of challenge to where it was needed. Great job!
This was very entertaining, to say the least! The dialogue and storytelling were very engaging, and I can't wait to see the continued story. When reviewing your game I noticed a few grammar mistakes, and there were a few missing images but that's about it. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see where this goes!
Awesome exploration of mechanics and art! Some of the images are not loading, so make sure file and folder names are all spelled correctly. Now, I think this really sets you up for a very interesting theme. The question now is this: what choices or behaviors do you wish to read in your player? Are those who are stern with Norbert getting specific results? Or those who are kind to him? What other moral questions can you pose? Rock, Paper, Scissors its a good skill check too, so I see the variety opening up. Please remind me to show you in class how to make Norbert decision truly random, if that's interesting to you. Good job!
